  Itinerary:

We will first cycle through the Kam Tin Walled City and on to the historic village of Shui Tau with its Old Schoolhouse Museum and Ancestral Halls. Then, we are off to the nearby Mystery Tree House. There is 850 years of history to pore over at this site!. From the Tree house we cycle out on bike path via Sha Po village to Nam Sheng Wai - an area known for its many bird species.

Cycling on brings us to the old city of Yuen Long. Here we will try a Dim Sum lunch. After our lunch we will continue cycling through Yuen Long to the Fish Ponds of Tsim Bei Tsui and the border fence of China! Looking across the bay we will see China while on the other side we will be riding through some of the best bird watching Hong Kong has to offer. We will be situated right behind the Wetland Park.

If time allows, continuing on Deep Bay Road our next stop is Lau Fau Shan, an ancient fishing village with an interesting market and oyster beds.  Finally we finish our ride cycling back towards Hong Kong’s very own Wetland Park to end our day. Free to explore at leisure or to cut out early, but we recommend you allow two hours to enjoy it. The Wetland Park closes at 5:00PM so we will try to be there by 2:30PM latest. Transport will be arranged according to need.
