VTN-1
China to Vietnam12 nights/ 13 days
Vietnam is becoming one of the most popular tourist destinations in Asia. Our curiosity of
this country - closed for so many years - is getting the best of us! We start our
cycling in South China from Nanning, the Capitol of Guangxi Province. Guangxi Province
borders Vietnam and we will cycle right across the borders. This in itself is remarkable,
considering that just a few years ago a full fledged border war was in progress! These two
nations have made their peace and border trade is now flourishing. We stay mostly in
the North of Vietnam where one of the highlights is Ha Long Bay. Most memorable, however,
will be the friendliness of the Vietnamese people and their gentle way of life.
