Hainan Island - the Hawaii of China

Hainan Island, located in the South China Sea facing Vietnam affords some tropical climes and great beaches to boot.  The Island is made up of two major minority groups being the Li and the Miao.  We have made this itinerary a short five days to add to our existing repertoire for quick get-a ways.  This one is particularly interesting as we offer it when many parts of Asia are too cold to cycle.  Every year over the Chinese New Year and National Day Holidays. (To name just two.)We fly to and from Sanya with these tours where the best beaches are.  Cycling hugs the coast and as a result with this tour we also get to enjoy some of China’s nicest resorts. Itinerary:

Day 01:  Assemble at the Hong Kong International Airport for our direct flight to Sanya, Hainan Island.  Upon arrival and clearance of customs procedures transferred to our hotel of two nights being the Palm Beach Resort and Spa, a Five Star Hotel.  (5)

Day 02:  Bike Fitting. Full Day biking around Sanya visiting the Ya Long Central Square, Deer Head Hill and the Great East Sea. Time for the beach too.

Day 03:  We will cycle a distance of 124 Km. today to the town of Xinglong – famous for its coffee and hot springs.  Enroute we will visit a Tropical Garden and lunch near Lin Shui on fresh seafood.  Overnite at the Hot spring Resort called Xinglong Kang Le Yuan Hotel. (4)

Day 04:  Cycling 100 Km today from Xinglong to Bo Ao.  Upon arrival we will have time to visit the Bo Ao Asia Forum and Aquarium City.  Overnight at the Bo Ao Jinjiang Hotel (4)

Day 05:  Beaching or Biking. Return to Sanya airport by coach for our flight to Hong Kong.
